The variety of projects GDPS has delivered to clients both within Australia and across Asia, since its formation in mid-2006 has included the following:
• Author of a book for Fairfax and the Mettle Group called Golf Excellence (place link to book).
• Consultant to Saujana Golf Resort (Malaysia’s number one golf resort) for educational, training and golf academy activities.
• Assisting the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation with tournaments and in compiling various resources including writing the quarterly APGC Newsletter.
• Helping the Taiwanese Golf Association restructure their Development, Coaching, High Performance and Rules Accreditation Programs. This has included conducting player, coaching and rules workshops.
• Chief Referee and International Representative at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar, 2006 Asia-Pacific Individual at Mission Hills, China, 2007 South Pacific Games in Samoa and 2007 South East Asian Games in Thailand and Referee at the 2006 and 2007 Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship in China, 2007 Nomura Cup in Taiwan and 2007 China Mobile VIP Championship in China.
• Writing articles for Golf Business News, an Australian Golf Industry publication.
• Producing reports for clients such as Amer Sports and Avid Sports.
• A number of other activities are also underway both in Australia and the Asian region.
