The GDPS vision is to help the game of golf grow. GDPS provides comprehensive information packages / workshops in a range of areas in golf and provides services to deliver golf tournaments / programs. GDPS is able to access some of the world’s leading golf experts from a number of fields and is able to call on expertise from a number of organisations in joint venture, strategic alliance and partnership arrangements.
GDPS General Manager, Dominic Wall, has over 22 years experience at national and international level sports management which includes 16 years in a number of roles for the Australian Golf Union (AGU) and Golf Australia (GA) including National Director of Coaching, Manager Development and Acting Executive Director and 5 years as Development Manager for the Australian Coaching Council based at the Australian Institute of Sport.
Among various duties at the AGU/GA he was responsible for all high performance and development activities, national squads, the AIS
Golf Program, grass roots level programs such as Go-Go Golf, coaching accreditation programs, social golfer programs including Golf Access Australia, international tournaments including being a member of the Management Committee for the Australian Open and has managed numerous national golf teams. He is a single figure handicap golfer and represented his state at junior level. He was also overall Team Coach for the 1988 Australian Paralympic Team and was involved in sport for disabled athletes prior to working for the AGU.
Dominic has also been a keynote speaker at a number of international golf conferences in St. Andrews, New Zealand and Malaysia. He has extensive experience in golf management, particularly in Australia and the Asian region, and can draw on a number of other experts and stakeholders in golf for a wide range of specialized areas.
